Three Policies of the Graduate School of Human Life Science

Diploma Policy

  • Students will have a wide range of knowledge on matters related to human life and deep academic knowledge in a specialized field sufficient to earn a doctoral degree.
  • Students will be able to pursue various issues related to human life from a comprehensive and interdisciplinary perspective.
  • Students will be able to have more advanced expertise and problem-solving skills in human life and to present the results of their research with appropriate expression and communication skills.
  • Students will be able to harness their expertise and skills in human life science and contribute to society at large with their comprehensive judgement and creative research skills.

Curriculum Policy

  • A wide range of specialized subjects in each field are provided for comprehensive and interdisciplinary research related to human life.
  • As the culmination of research in each specialized field, a doctoral dissertation is required under the guidance of a research plan and in accordance with the standards set out in the JWU Degree Regulations.

Admission Policy

  • Students who want to acquire a higher level of specialized research methods in order to address problems in their lives.
  • Students who have a volition to research people and life in depth and contribute to society with the results of their research.
