- Students have a broad knowledge of the human sciences and design and have acquired a high level of expertise in a specialized field.
- Students will be able to identify and solve today's issues related to household life with an awareness of the social role of the human sciences and design.
- Students will be able to present their research results with accurate expression and communication skills with advanced specialized knowledge and skills in the human sciences and design.

Curriculum Policy
- Human Life and Social Research" is offered as a common subject of the Graduate School of Human Sciences and Design to enables students to acquire the research methods and statistical processing necessary for conducting research in the graduate school.
- Lectures are offered to enable students to acquire more advanced specialized knowledge in each field of the human sciences and design.
- Subjects that involve experiments, practical training and fieldwork are offered so that students can learn how to conduct comprehensive and practical research in the human sciences and design field.
- Through individualized guidance, students are required to complete a master's thesis (including a master's work) of the standard stipulated in the University's degree regulations.
