The Division of Social and Family Economy examines everyday life problems that are the subject of research in home economics through the methods of economic analysis and home economics as well as public policy perspectives. The Division aims to pursue various problems and policy issues in contemporary society from the dual perspectives of researchers and consumers/citizens. The Division is also open to a wide range of working people in order for them to combine experience and theory in a developmental manner so that they can clearly describe and analyze problems and empirical knowledge from their own work and daily life in business, government, teaching, and other settings through a theoretical approach.

Human Resource Development and Educational and Research Purposes

The Division of Social and Family Economy aims to develop highly capable and knowledgeable human resources who are capable of setting and researching new issues in the field of social and family economy and public life by examining a wide range of diverse everyday life problems through the method of economic analysis, as well as social scientific perspectives from home economics, political science, business administration and other disciplines.
